Are You Afraid Of The Dark?(!) ♥ I haven't watched this show in years, and found episodes on youtube the other day, and have been watching obsessively ever since. It is surprisingly still watchable. And so awesome in its badness. Plus: I don't think I ever realized how diverse the casting was ... it's nice. And the authority figures are hilariously MEAN sometimes. It's hysterical. I've been thinking about buying the early years on DVD, but youtube quality will do for now. :)

So far, The Tale Of The Dream Girl remains my favorite... I also really like The Tale Of Locker 22.

Does anyone else have favorites, or even episodes they remember vividly? Let me know, so I can figure out which one to watch next.

Oh, I miss that show so much! It was always one of my favorites when I was a kid. ;D One of my favorite episodes was the monster in the school's swimming pool... "The Tale of the Dead Man's Float"! There were so many great ones! (I found an episode list for you! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Are_You_Afraid_of_the_Dark%3F_episodes) ;D)

Also, did you know that the "Tale of the the Dream Girl" episode partially inspired M. Night Shyamalan to write "The Sixth Sense"? Cool, huh? ;D And sort of makes sense when you think about the twist endings in both of them!

I don't remember '...The Dead Man's Float' Thank you for the rec! *hunts down episode on youtube*

I was wondering if Shyamalan was inspired to write the 'The Sixth Sense' because of 'The Tale Of The Dream Girl' and it turns out he was! How cool is that?

I never watched this show too often, but I loved my weekend Nick. Secret World of Alex Mack and early All That. And of course Salute Your Shorts and Dude Ranch were always good too. And Clarisa Explains it All. I watched an obsessive amount of TV when I was younger.
