that video was FIRE!! i mean, how awesomely well done was that? editing, clips. the best video i've seen in a while and the best video i've seen for this fandom period. and i'm SO not saying that with a chuck/serena bias. they are my fav but i enjoy all couples including chuck/blair, serena/dan, nate/chuck (that last one's a secret,lol). this is right up there with an AU vid i saw of dan/serena with serena getting pregnant.\

Gahhhh! I love this so much! I knew you'd do a good job of vidding C/S, but this is even better than I'd hoped for. :D The editing is amazing. For lack of a better way of organizing my squee, here's a laundry list:

+ Serena banging on the door at 0:07. So clever!

+ The montage of Chuck perving over Serena (hee!), contrasted with Serena watching Chuck with Blair.

+ The way that you showcased the various Serenas: sweet (boring) Serena; broken (drunken) Serena; kickass Serena.

+ The shots of Chuck alone at 1:50 give the vid a brief (yet intense) shot of pathos, as you realize that C and S really aren't so dissimilar.

+ THEN, my absolute favourite part, at 2:35, where the music's pace picks up and C and S resume their bickering. I especially love the editing at "again, again, again, again". Awesome!

+ You have a great way of picking out seemingly irrelevant moments and giving them meaning: such as Chuck helping Serena as she stumbles on her way to the hotel kitchen in the Pilot.

+ The shots of the door closing make for such an effective ending.

In conclusion: LOVE.
