I finally downloaded the pilot of Skins, and oh god YES, it is marvelous. No surprise there, as I've heard such good things. I've taken a liking to Cassie, Maxxie, Effy, and Tony so far, and I don't see that changing. Tony/Effy is my OTP (because it's WRONG and PRETTY), with Tony/Maxxie not far behind, because pretty boys touching/kissing/dancing is DIVINE. And my most favorite thing ever. Right after Jared Padalecki's face.

Also. My friend Hanna made a gorgeous Tony/Maxxie vid, which I encourage you to watch even if you've never seen a single episode of the series. Lascivious and lovely.

I find the writing on Skins frustratingly patchy, but when it's good, it's SO GOOD. Effy is probably my favourite TV character EVER.

If you like Tony/Maxxie then you'll LOVE the Russia episode but my OTP is sooo Sid/Cassie because they are both nerdy and scared and gorgeous.
