Um. Here's the thing. I not-so-secretly 'ship this trio. They're all from Texas. And all incredibly hot. And geeky and lovely and PERFECT in their own special ways. I don't know. I have strange passions. Also: It's something I've been trying to write forever now, but vids are so much easier. ;) Originally I had decided on "Freakshow" by Britney Spears (!)... but then I heard this song, and thought, 'Oh, YES, I want to use that!' And I've always adored Alexis in Less Than Jake's video "She's Gonna Break Soon" because it was SUCH a departure from everything else she's ever done EVER, and it was AWESOME.

Oh. And there is a storyline here. But it's rather complicated, and probably best left unexplained. Draw your own conclusions. Please. And then tell me alll about 'em. ;) (p.s. My fic has nothing to do with this whatsoever.)

I'm actually hoping this will inspire someone to write them, and make my Christmas that much merrier.

whoa, that was amazing! The colouring you've done to blend the sources together just blew my mind, and the angry rythm of that vid, just... awesome! And that last scene made me suddenly feel sorry for Alexis.. Jared has Jensen now and she looks just so desperately jelaous and alone there.

Such a great vid! I swear, you spoil me for all other vidders. Because you're always all well timed with the music and the content is great lyrically and in itself, but your vids are also always so pretty. I know nothing about the technicalities, but even when different scenes are edited together you do something to the colour or something and it all has this coherent tone and mood. And I love the idea. I want more Jared/Alexis fic (or any!) in general, and Jensen too can only improve things. I can see where you're coming from. I had no idea Alexis was from Texas! Jared and Jensen did seem to bond a lot based purely on them being from the same state. It's always the first thing they mention! And they are all incredibly hot. I really, really want fic now.

The story is so not better left unexplained! I love it when vids have complicated stories. I am trying to discern the story in this. So, Alexis gets ready for a night out, a little nervous because she always feels a bit set apart but putting a brave face on. Jared and Jensen are having a night out, beers, dart etc. when Jared spots Alexis. Instant connection! It's like when he met Jensen! And Jensen is kind of jealous and annoyed. He casts them not so subtle looks when they go off together, which Alexis notice even if Jared is oblivious. And I think they spend the night together at least, but of course eventually Jared leaves and goes back to Jensen's, all happy to Jensen's grumpiness. Alexis is upset at him leaving. And so is Jensen damn it! He tries to cover it up and acts all fine and too happy and the next night he goes off and picks up some random chick. Take that Jared! See how you like it! And then Jared's a little annoyed, but goes and finds Alexis again and they're all watching each other trying to make the other jealous. But it's Jared and Jensen when it comes down to it. And at the end... are they all on the same event/show, but Jared and Jensen are all happy and BFF again, and Alexis is slightly on the outside, a little wistful and jealous? And the only sour cherry on the fruit stand because Jared and Jensen are sweet. Um. Okay, was I close? You have to tell me if I was at all close. *puppy eyes*

Alexis essentially acts as a catalyst in the epic romance of Jared'n'Jensen. (Poor Alexis. Jensen totally wants her, too. And Jared. At the same time. :x)
